A Set on a Hill
You are the light : " You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
You were chosen : You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go adn bear fruit that will last. John 15:16
You were called : God has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. 2 Timothy 1:9
You bring light : But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light 1Peter 2:9
Light separates from darkness : And God, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that there the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:2
